Hey, my name is Bill and I'm a senior at USF St. Petersburg campus. Today I will be walking you through a day in my life. Right now we're here at my off campus apartment, which is just a three minute walk from USF. So let's get to it. Our first stop of the day is the student government office. I serve as the campus governor for USF student government at the St. Petersburg campus, amplifying the voices of our 4500 plus students among our administration. Come on, let me show you my office. As an international student from Pakistan, I was welcomed with open hands by the community at USF St. Petersburg campus. And that's why I choose to be in the student government office to serve as the campus governor so that other incoming students can have the same experience. Hey, how's the tabling going? We're getting a lot of students coming in. Oh, that's great. Today we're tabling for the student government campus council elections. Through this tabling, students can come and vote for their favorite campus Council candidate. After leaving the student government office, I head over to take my classes for the day. As a business analytics and accounting student, most of my classes are centered in the Kate Tiedemann School of Finance, housed in the Lynn Pippenger Hall. Oh, looks like today's therapy dog day.
This college has provided me a lot of professional opportunities. For instance, the speed networking event held by the Monroe College of Business was the reason I landed my first internship with Jabil circuit, a global technology company. This internship has provided me a platform to attain hands on experience in the financial and accounting world to enhance my transition from academia to my career.
At the end of the day, I come back here at my off campus apartment. I'll binge on some Netflix, get some homework assignments done and just wind down. Thank you for tagging along with me today and seeing a day in my life. Hope to see you all on campus soon. Go Bulls.
