Hi, my name is Sapna and I'm a third year student at the University of South Florida's College of Nursing. Come on tour with me and check out what a day in my life looks like.
This is my first stop of the day. Usually class begins at 8am and I try to get here early to get a good spot.
This is second stop of my day it's the bio behavior lab. I usually come here after class so I can get some more hands on research to pursue my goal of becoming a nurse scientist. So my main responsibilities here include teaching new volunteers on how to do basic lab skills. These include DNA extractions and how to run analysis.
For lunch, I come down to terrace cafe. It's super close to the lab and really convenient. The food is also super good. Pro tip, I recommend the hummus platter.
Usually I come to the library in the afternoon to study it's a really nice and quiet spot but I can also group study for big exams. On Monday we have our pathophysiology exam, and it's great to have a group like them to study with.
Thank you so much for letting me share with you a day in my life. Go Bulls!
