When I was looking to transfer schools what drew me to the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus was the affordability and the small classroom sizes. Because I was able to have one on ones with my professors to be able to learn the concepts better.
As a biomedical sciences and psychology dual major, I knew that USF would have not only the classes, but also their professors that are necessary for me to advance my education and become a medical student in the future.
I knew USF was for me when I found a home in the office of Veterans Success. So the office is open to everybody. And you can actually find a lot of resources for pretty much anything any questions you might have about anything on campus.
What made me pursue a college education at USF was mostly the quality of the programs but also how involved they are in the community. I would like to start a solar power company in my home country, and I believe the programs I'm taking currently at USF will provide me with the skills to make me feel confident that I can take on this challenge. And help bring not only jobs to my country with manufacturing, but most importantly make clean energy available and affordable to all.
