This school offers many different majors from engineering to business to any health related field. I know a lot of people come here for health especially since we have Moffitt Cancer Center right here. I originally came here for computer engineering, but due to the many options that are available on campus, I ended up switching my major to finance and management which I developed a passion for.
I've always been interested in looking at systems and then modifying and strengthening them. And when I was doing my research, USF had a really strong program in supply chain management, and that that was a really big draw for me.
Here at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. We have a lot of strong programs, some of which include nursing, biology, and there's a large growth in cybersecurity.
I was particularly drawn to the rigorous STEM programs that USF offers. As a biomedical sciences and psychology dual major, I knew that USF would have not only the classes, but also the professors that are necessary for me to advance my education and become a medical student in the future.
USF offers a lot of hands-on opportunities. For example, in my program, our last semester is fully an internship. And the cool thing about it is we get to kind of pick where we get placed. So we speak with an advisor and tell them what field of interest we have and they do their best to place us in that respective field.
Any interest that you have, be it in STEM, business, in arts, USF has it all. You really find what you like.
What drew me to USF was its legacy of always rising above adversity and becoming a school of not only integrity, but rank. I wanted somewhere where I could grow as well, and USF prioritizes growth above all else. So that's why I really wanted to become a Bull.
